Shannon's Wedding

Congratulations!
Shannon & Brett were married on Friday April 20th, 2007 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
My sister and I were there ( J-Pro Video) to capture the day on film.

It was wonderful seeing my sorority sisters of Alpha Sigma Alpha again. It has been great reuniting with members I haven't spoken to in years, and even better that so many of them are so happy in their lives! Getting married, having babies, and living their dreams. I look forward to keeping in touch with the girls much more than I have since I left college, and the state of Michigan.


It was also nice to see Ben Novak (One of Justin's Best friends from college) and his family. Everyone was so great to me and I really had a nice time being in town for the weekend with old friends.
Shannon's Wedding was really beautiful, the weather was gorgeous & she was stunning. The event was very unique. Their reception was held at the Van Andel Museum, and the carousel was a great backdrop for photos & fun ( although it did make me a bit nausous to watch it go 'round & 'round. ) Shannon's Photographer was Kris Norman of "A Picture's Worth" Photography and she & her assistant were very pleasant to work with. When I returned home, Sunday was another sunny & warm day & Justin & I decided to go to the Brookfield Zoo.
We wanted to see Stingray Bay, but it doesn't open until the end of May. We had a nice time though enjoying the sunshine & the outdoors.My Favorite is always the Gorillas, but I have to admit that the baby polar bear was pretty darn cute too.
